2017年度入試以降、共通問題英語のリスニングでは5問中1問だけ英文で答える問題が出されている。他はすべて四択問題である。

いずれもwhatで問われる形。
2020年度だけ if～ で始まっている。
不定詞、動名詞が好んで出される。
2016年度も1問は「To make people happy」と不定詞で答える問題だった。
◆答えは後半の段落に
実際に解いてみればすぐ分かるが、リスニング後半に答えがある。
1回目は特に後半の段落をよく聞くこと。
